Yat gives on different window computers "no serial COM ports available". I clean up all the ports. What to do?
Windows is always trouble and unstable. Do you have no mac way to connect.
The effector comes without A wiring diagram to the Duetwifi. Your system is so user unfriendly.

Did you install the drivers? (see step 1 of the step by step guide here)

        https://duet3d.com/wiki/Getting_connected_to_the_Duet_WiFi

Could you post a screenshot of device manager with the Duet board connected via USB?

As for the SmartEffector, the wiring diagram is posted on the wiki (much like the rest of the documentation). Saving trees and all that. Here's the link:

To attache an image is not possible with this system .What to do with ????
I reboot the computer ,reinstall, Yat 64 en 32. I feel sick to do this all only to put a password in for wifi.
Only the message is "no serial COM Ports. On the device manager stay-Duet under "other devices".
On the smart effector page stay no wire diagram. Only text and unclear photos.
Please send me an email address where I can send you the screenshot.

Yes, posting images is possible, hundreds of users do it. You need to upload to an image host first, such as imgur.

Yes, there is a wiring diagram on that wiki page, under the "Connectors and Wiring" header. Below the diagram is a table of what connects to what between the Smart Effector and the Duet.

              @Kilsdonk:

…On the device manager stay-Duet under "other devices".

Install the device driver then. See "Getting connected via USB" at https://duet3d.com/wiki/Getting_connected_to_the_Duet_Ethernet_or_Duet_0.8.5.

Usb is connected with Simplify3d. Device manager show Duet Wifi under Ports(Com&LPT).
Yat "Terminal settings" show Duet Wifi in Com 3. So far no problem.

I can not send text from Yat. Terminal Error. Unable to start terminal. Access to the port"com3"is denied.
How can I setup the Duetwifi for Delta.

Did you close Simpify3D before starting YAT? Only one program can use the COM port at a time.

You are correct. I close Simplify3d and YAT is running. I get now:" Wifi module is connected to IP address 192.168.20.106
This IP address is filled in Chrome and the Duet control is visible. From here I can set up the delta. Correct?
