There exists a command M568, new to me, which has a parameter A, for controlling the state of a tool heater, independent of the other tool heater properties.

Are there similar commands for other heaters, like bed and chamber?

If not are they in the works?

If not can we get them in the queue?

I really dislike using "special values" for an existing parameter to invoke certain behaviors, like the S parameter for the bed heater.

    Thanks much!

      Not yet.

I think there was some discussion on more generalized heater management, but I'm not sure where that landed.

Bear with me, good sir, I turned 72 this past May and remembering is a slowly fading skill. 😉
