io0 use prevents paneldue connecting
-
My Duet mini 3+ will not allow paneldue to connect if io0 is used. I have since shifted the filament sensor (5v photoelectric sensor) to io2 and it now works fine. Seems like it could be a glitch. Am I wrong?

@bubblevisor Only io0 can be used for PanelDue on Duet 3. See https://docs.duet3d.com/User_manual/Connecting_hardware/Display_PanelDue#option-1-4-way-cable

@droftarts I see. I wasn't aware of this. Thanks! Pity its not marked up on the board somehow.

@bubblevisor I have added "The IO_0 connector cannot be used for other purposes when using the PanelDue_SD header because they share connections." to the documentation on using the ribbon cable connector at https://docs.duet3d.com/en/How_to_guides/Wiring_your_Duet_3#h-15-connecting-a-display

@bubblevisor I guess you are connecting the PanelDue using the ribbon cable? It is mentioned in a couple of places that the PanelDue_SD connector shares pins with the IO_0 header. I've added it in a couple of other places, to try and make it clearer.
IO_0 can be used for endstops, Z probes, filament monitors etc. so long as no PanelDue is connected.
