Adafruit accelerometer on Duet 2 wifi, no problems with connection and wiring to the board, it's working but no data is registered, is it bug? It was working in RRF v3.3 and v3.4.

          You're on firmware 3.4.2?
Have you updated the input shaping plugin?

            yes, 3.4.1-b1(inputShaping)
Downgraded RRF to 3.3 and 3.4 same thing, can't find inputShaping an older version to try... Back to latest version RRF 3.4.2

@voronswcroatia probably need to add a resistor as described here https://docs.duet3d.com/en/User_manual/Connecting_hardware/Sensors_Accelerometer#:~:text=for longer runs.-,Note,-%3A some users

it was working, luckily I have backup sd card before update....and using accelerometer data from RRF 3.4
interesting how this saga with wiring and cable type is still hit and miss. Didn't expect this with Duet boards, considering the price of the board!

@voronswcroatia its using SPI in the way it is. It's not great at long distances and can be subject to noise.
all the issues i've seen so far have been due to wiring

@jay_s_uk “it's not great at long distance”!? 40cm recommendation!?
How you set a printer with a control board 40cm to the hotend, where we mount the accelerometer? I read all the documentation and decide to go with USB 3 cable, like I said it was working, now it's not. Nothing changed on printer except update to RRF v3.4.2

@voronswcroatia USB3 is normally the way to go. I run a 2.7m long USB3 cable on my delta with an accelerometer ok.
you could try adding the resistor as i've suggested

@jay_s_uk thanks! Just solder 1k resistor to an SDO line (wire), same result, no data recorded!?

Well, first of all, the lack of documentation is beyond reality and what we get on the official website is wrong, how to wire the accelerometer and how to configure it in config.g with a wrong pinout data!? See the photo how they screw it up, and people scratching their heads why it's not working!Oh yeah, you just need to switch the M955 P0 C"spi.cs4+spi.cs3" to M955 P0 C"spi.cs3+spi.cs4" THANKS it's working now!!? It is a 6yrs since duet 2 wifi has its last revision to v1.04, how many boards are out there in the world!? The logical conclusion is that this community will have a solution but reality shows that it is just hype about the superior duet firmware and electronics! The same couple of forum posts and links, no real solutions, explanations, or users for problems with this whole Duet thing!
Chinese are kicking ass with far more better and cheaper electronics!
It's been fun but not in a funny way. Fuck this Duet shit. Everything here reminds me of Prusa 3d printer owners and that community. Same shit product with mediocre results (prints).

@voronswcroatia by-hu just one downvote... don't prove me right!
If this forum and the product are the real deal I expect at least 1000 downvotes by the morning.
Advertising this shit as a CNC capable board, implementing an accelerometer couple of months ago, where the CNC industry used it for decades!

@voronswcroatia so you got your config wrong and now you want to complain about your lack of reading ability?

@jay_s_uk yes! Following the official duet website.... But you got comprehending disability of what you read. If you can help and you can't.... You just prove my point! Poor support and bad designed board

@voronswcroatia so you're complaining that you can't read the information given and that a feature that has been added to a board post design (as input shaping is a development in the 3d printing world that has come about since the design of the duet 2) is bad design? would you rather that features like this aren't implemented on older hardware, instead forcing you to buy new versions?

A Former User, please clarify: are you saying that the documentation is wrong, or that you mis-interpreted it in some way? How did you wire your accelerometer board to the Duet?
