On behalf of the Duet3D team I am please to announce the release of software bundle 3.4.3. This is a minor update to 3.4.2 to fix a bug that affected systems using the Duet 3 MB6XD board together with expansion boards, to improve the support for motor brake solenoids connected to Duet 3 expansion boards, and to support a forthcoming update to the Duet 3 6HC board. There are also minor updates to DWC and, for SBC users, DSF.

Users of Duet with attached Single Board Computer should upgrade from the Duet3D package server as usual. Users running in standalone mode, please use the files at https://github.com/Duet3D/RepRapFirmware/releases/tag/3.4.3.

@dc42 The Duet2 Wifi with the new firmware 3.4.3 does not allow remote access (if there is ping and open ports) With the Duet2 ethernet and the duet3 Mini5 wifi I have not had problems, I have downgraded the duet2 wifi to 3.4.2 and they are doing well. Is a bug?

@dc42 I`m curious, what changes are going to be made to the 6HC in version 1.02?

@tximy please use M122 to check which WiFi firmware version you are using with RRF 3.4.2. Then upgrade it to 3.4.3 again. If the problem still occurs, please run M122 again (you can run it via USB if you have no network access) and re-check the WiFi firmware version number; then start a new thread describing the problem and reporting the WiFi firmware version numbers.

@jumpedwithbothfeet we don't normally pre-announce planned hardware changes except to our OEM customers. Some of the changes in the new revision are needed to work around continuing shortages of electronic components.

We have discovered an issue with firmware 3.4.3 on a Duet Wifi. The symptom is that when FTP and Telnet are both enabled using M586, the network interface stops working and DWC is unable to connect.

I have identified the reason and posted a temporary Duet 2 firmware binary to fix it in this thread: https://forum.duet3d.com/post/296505.

I was unable to reproduce this same issue on a Duet 3 Mini WiFi, however this issue might affect that board too. I will release new firmware binaries for Duet 2 and Duet 3 Mini next week.

Boards using Ethernet interface are not affected by this issue.
