Contents of several files have disappeared since using RFF 3.4.4 (SBC)

I just lost my entire config.g copied over from config.g.bak and upon closing (if I remember right I closed not saved) the .bak file the contents of it also disappeared.

There are known knowns and known unknowns, things we know that we don't know. But there are also unknown unknowns.

@Hernicz It would probably help if you can provide details of exactly what happened...

So when did you notice that config.g was empty?
What had you done prior to that (any edits of the file, system closedown/startup etc.).
What did you do to restore the file (did you rename the .bak file, did you open the .bak in the editor?).
When/how did you notice that the "restored" file was empty?
What happened to the .bak file (was it gone, or empty)?

@gloomyandy Prior to config.g it happened with my daemon.g

I'm in the middle of printer calibration and instead of using the GCode dictionary I just open up config.g to copy some GCodes into console and change parameters there on the fly.

File contents disappearing, the file itself remains but the file size is 0B

I think that the contents disappearing upon closing with the X at the top left of the editor (why would I save a file if I just open them to copy stuff), but not sure.

I noticed it upon reopening files, but now I watch file size after I close them. (Possibly gonna do a Ctrl-A Ctrl-C before closing files)

I cannot replicate it seems to happen randomly.

I had this behaviour, but I tracked it down to a faulty network connection on my Deut2. I was looking at my config.g, and lost connectivity temporarily. However the config.g file was now 0K in size. I noticed that whenever my network dropped, it zeroed the file I had open in the editor. I used the config.bak file to get me close to where I was earlier. Now that the network issue has been fixed, all has been good. Thanks for the great support guys.

Can you send M122 and copy and paste the results here?

There should be some extra checks in 3.4.4 to prompt before a 0kb file is saved.
