      Hi gents,
I have a small LCD resin printer on my way and saw lots of tutorial videos the past few days.
I was surprised to see how capable these printers are nowadays. There was a big leap forward (about one year ago). They can now print a whole layer in 6-9sec!

Some videos were material comparisons between FDM and resin printed parts.
Especially the ABS-like or Nylon-like resins are quite tough and they can stand high temperatures, too. (200°C +)
And layer-orientation doesn't matter as much as it does with FDM parts.

I wonder who prints functional parts from resin printers instead and can share their findings?
      Same for Nylon-like gears...
Is it worth the extra money and hassle with wash & cure?

      THX
      Olaf
