Can someone explain to me what this means when used in M591 to set up a rolling magnetic filament monitor?

Do I need to be printing from an SD card for the rolling magnet filament monitor to work, or do I just have to set this switch to S1 if I am printing from an SD card?

      Thanks

@JADoglio you need to be printing from the SD card (which you are when uploading files to DWC) for the filament monitor to work. It doesn't work if streaming gcode from another source such as octoprint

Owns various duet boards and is the main wiki maintainer for the Teamgloomy LPC/STM32 port of RRF. Assume I'm running whatever the latest beta/stable build is

@jay_s_uk Thank you. That makes sense. I am so used to not thinking about the SD card capturing the upload from DWC that this confused me for a bit.
