Hello! Recently my 24v hot end fan wires were damaged. After fixing the fan wires were fixed, the fan no longer works. I have not changed any Gcode or configuration and the printer was completely operational beforehand. I followed the fan power line all the way to the effector. There is 24v coming in from the fan wires directly off the duet2 wifi board but the fan connector on the effector is only getting 9v.

      Any ideas?

If the wires were shorted from the damage they may have caused damage to the fan mosfets. Can you see any damage to the little chip near the fan header on the Duet?

@Phaedrux Not that I can see with the naked eye. I may try to swap fan outputs.

@Phaedrux Also, if the mosfets were damaged wouldn't they just stop outputting 24v? I am getting 24v from the fan 0 pins off the main board but the fan connector on the smart effector is only outputting 9v.

The mosfets switch the negative side, not the positive side.

Check your fan fuse as well, perhaps it's partially failed.
