I'm upgrading to a Smart effector v3 and I'm a little confused by the PT100 wiring.
I currently had 2 twisted pairs running from the daughter board to the PT100.

The connection on the bottom for the temp sensor is a 2 wire, so if I run 4 wires to the 8 pin, do I need to remove the solder jumpers and do I need to do anything else.

Is it worth the hassle? I vaguely remember when I first built this printer, reading the twisted pair helped eliminate noise and poor temp readings.

@TwoTone just run 4 wires between the Duet daughter board and the effector, and remove the jumpers from the daughter board. I use 8-way multicore cable between the SE and the Duet + daughter board. You don't need to touch the links on the daughter board if the connection from daughter board to PT100 is 2 wire.

@dc42 Thanks for the reply, what about the soldered jumpers on the effector?

@TwoTone leave them alone. They convert the 4-wire connection to 2-wire.
