Duet wont power up with PSU
-
So My Modix shut down while the printer was doing tilt calibration just like someone flipped the power switch. the panel started flashing like it was trying to turn on and it just kept doing that every 1 sec or so. I have changed the PSU and it still does it. the board powers up with 5v and is accessible via web control. but as soon as you apply 24v the blue light flashes on and off every second and it will disconnect with a ton of random faults like driver 4 fault which isn't even connected. I have unplugged everything on the board and that didn't solve it so my question is what could have caused this and is there a solution without changing the board? if not am I going to fry a new board?

@dynamiccorvettes Its probably a short somewhere.
Have you also tested the fuses?
Can you post some high res pictures of the board? -
Can you remove the board and connect it to the 24v psu with nothing else? Is the PSU able to power it properly when disconnected from everything else?

@dynamiccorvettes also check that the screws in the VIN terminal block of the Duet are tight.

Solved - There was a wire in the behind the board that was shorting out the fan pins that must of been pinched when the board was installed outside of the cabinet the board worked and after closer inspection it was discovered thank you!
