Warranty etc. on a second hand board
-
Just asking out of curiosity since i have a oppurtunity to buy a "box new" Duet 3 Mini 5+ second hand. And the person selling it havent got any reciepts of purchase etc.
So my question is basicly how a hypothetical warranty case would look out for me if i went forrward with buying this board given the circumstances.
And is it any way for me to verify the boards authenticity prior to purchase etc?
Hope this is the correct forum category for such a question btw lol

@Exerqtor we would honour a warranty on a new board resold as "second hand" but unused as long as the original reseller order can be confirmed.

@T3P3Tony Ok, an E3D sales reciept should follow accordingly to the seller. The receipt was for more than one unit since he bought a bunch. But i guess that shouldn't pose an issue.
I at least went through and bought it, so time will show. Doubt i will ever need to do a waranty clame on the board, just good to know how it would be handeled IF something was to happen. ️

@Exerqtor yeah we want to be reasonable, and if there was a reason for a warranty replacement we want to know about it an make sure it does not happen in future designs.

@T3P3Tony That's what i assumed as well
😊
Just wanted to double check before purchasing it since the "main" reason for buying a board is to see if it will solve the issues I have with 3.5b4 on the (otherwise fully functioning) Fysetc BigDipper board i'm currently running.

@Exerqtor cool, will be interesting to see how that works out!
