I ordered the Duet 3 Mainboard 6HC in July and encountered 4 bugs when I started using it yesterday

      1. After Raspberry Pi is connected to 6HC, it will display failed to connect duet.local
      2. Connected to the screen via HDMI, the display shows failed to start Duet Control Server
      3. Using 6HC alone to connect Type-C to the computer, the driver cannot be found, and there is no port to read when using YAT.The device administrator can't grab any drivers or ports5.png

I have repeatedly confirmed that the wiring and power supply are completely correct, but I still can't get any information on 6HC

Is it 6HC that is already broken? I asked the official by mail, and the official only asked me to ask the forum, and did not mention any solution at all.

To help troubleshooting I would suggest leaving out the raspberry Pi for now and focus on getting connected to the 6HC by itself.

First start with this guide to see if you can establish a connection.

        https://docs.duet3d.com/en/How_to_guides/Getting_connected/Getting_connected_to_your_Duet

If you are unable to get going, try this guide and let us know what you find.

        https://docs.duet3d.com/en/User_manual/Troubleshooting/Duet_wont_respond

Start with a very basic configuration with nothing connected but the USB connection. Also be aware that the 6HC can be picky about the USB port and cable being used. Try different ports and cables. Try a usb hub.

I changed 4 typec cables and compared them with 3 computers. Both the cables and computers are good, but I still can’t connect to 6hc.

@zzzzz1102 Phaedrux requested testing with just the USB connected, no other cables - but you're continuing to post tests with several other cables connected.

Also that USB cable looks rough.... What happened to the USB cable that came with the board?

I followed just the last step used the erase pin on the board to erase the firmware, the USB device ran out, but an exclamation mark was displayed https://docs.duet3d.com/en/User_manual/Troubleshooting/Duet_wont_respond

According to the official Installing and Updating Firmware, I can't grab COM with Bossa6.png

I successfully connected to the computer with Typec, and flashed Duet3Firmware_MB6HC.bin with Bossa

Now 6HC has a red light flashing, and YAT can send commands
But the Web Control still doesn't work
                  What can be done next?

Duet Web Control won't load if there's no SD card in the 6HC. The SD card needs to contain the proper files for DWC.

Your board would have come with an SD card that has a dual partition setup. One partition will work when it's inserted into the Duet, and the other is a partition for the Pi when inserted there.

If you still have to original SD card and it hasn't been modified, insert that SD card into the Duet and disconnect the Pi ribbon cable.

That should allow the Duet to be reachable if you follow the getting connected guide.

                      https://docs.duet3d.com/en/How_to_guides/Getting_connected/Getting_connected_to_your_Duet

If you SD card has been modified you will need to prepare a fresh SD card.
