Are there people who can explain a bit about input shaping?
-
I have done an input shaping procedure and I don't really understand if everything is okay with the results. No matter how tight or loose my belts are, the resonance frequency is still the same, around 40 Hz. It's a core xy printer.

@Arminas I found the following video pretty well done even if its about klippers implementation and not RRF's. The basic principles should still apply.
-
@oliof do you know how to perform a move in both diagonals? As I understand, I can move it only in one diagonal direction - XY.
-
-
@Arminas I would do a measurement for each diagonal. Acceleration recommendations like klipper does it are not currently part of the RRF InputShaping plugin.
-
@oliof How is the measurement for each diagonal is performed with the input shaper plugin?
-
@Arminas I cant say that since I tend to only use it to look at measurements.

@dc42 is there a way to perform X+Y diagonal moves in both direction? I mean there is only 3 option to choose from in input shaper plug in - X, Y and X+Y. I also want to perform diagonal move in other direction, to check if both belts are tensioned equally.

@oliof Hi. would you mind taking a look at my X axis graph? It looks bad, but on the other hand, the amplitude is very low. I took this measurement without "capture data during the whole length of move". Y axis looks beautiful.
