I would like to try a new sd card due to file uploading error.
Exactly how do I do it and what files need to be on the card?
      Thanks

@wbrokow1 m39 says 0.18gb left out of 16gb. I tried deleting files though DWC but I don't think it's really clearing up space. how do I do It manually?

This should be a good resource for you in the process:

          https://docs.duet3d.com/User_manual/RepRapFirmware/SD_card

The specific file structure is necessary. Also make sure to backup any critical files before you do this. Config.g, gcode for prints, etc.

@HebigT ok read the link. But want to be sure:

So I can format a new sd card in a PC according to the instructions?

Take the sd from the duet3 mb and create a directory on my PC and copy all the files as a backup?

Copy all files from backup directory to newly formatted sd card and then insert back into duet3d mb and I am ready to go?

just want to be sure because I dont want to screw up my setup!

            Thanks,
            Walter

Yes that sounds fine. Always good idea to have a backup. Your SD card may have limited space because it has a partition on the card meant for using with a Raspberry Pi.

Getting a larger capacity dedicated card is probably a good idea.

@wbrokow1 Ok. I figured it out. I downloaded the dwc.zip file and extracted into the www directory and it seems to be fully functional
                    Thanks
