    Hey All,

Has anyone found a way to smash the nozzle (delicately) into the bed using sensorless/stall detect to probe the bed for mesh?

I have an old anycubic kossel and am tired of the magnetic Z probe deploy/stow macros.

Thinking to tinker with it - I have switches at the tops of the towers to "home" x,y,z

But to make a bed mesh or probe Z ... I'd like to use sensorless if at all possible.

@bahnstormer that's likely not going to work due to the lack of rigidity of the effector arrangement. You could consider the smart effector, or an old fish eye effector arrangement where the print head is mounted on a part that levers and triggers a switch, under bed piezo sensors, or @rqthree s TAP-XXX sensor (piezo variant, no relation to Voron TAP).

I use a piezo sensor similar to what is available in https://www.precisionpiezo.co.uk/ and it works great for delta.
