event detected launches script on PI

Hello. I have a duet3 in SBC mode connection (raspi 3)
Can the raspberry pi detects an event detected by RRF on the duet and so use to for example lauch a script on the raspi itself?

Another way to ask the same question (almost jajaja): the connection between duet3 board and raspi is done throufh SPI. Can the raspi detects events on the duet3 board and so react on some way (for example executing an script)?
