      Hi *,

      36836aef-dfd8-43a4-a460-a40145f4d503-image.png

I'm sure that I have a toolboard which should be displayed in the "Settings -> Mashine-Specific", shouldn't it?

The plugin "CAN Manager", is not very clear here too:

I tested the same with a browser which never was connected to any DWC before, same result.

      🤷

      Cheers, Chriss

@gloomyandy I do not want to power cycle the printer at the moment. https://forum.duet3d.com/topic/35413/firmware-3-50-rc-4-stops-working Let us focus on that first....

@Chriss Well the two are probably related. If your mainboard was restarted without shutting down correctly while the toolboard was still powered on then you will see the toolboard show up as above.

@gloomyandy Well, the "info not shown" is one thing.. that a print stops with a reboot of the firmware is a other thing, isn't it? Anyway,, you guys know it better. I can pull the plug on the printer to check wether this thing is gone, but the downside is that we have a fresh power cycled board and we may miss the opportunity to source some information for the prints which stopped...

I just wanted to point that out.... This may be useless but I do not want to bin this opportunity just because of a display problem which is easy to reproduce.

@Chriss I wasn't suggesting that you pull the plug. I was trying to explain that the problem you have reported on this thread was almost certainly a consequence of the board reset you have reported on the other thread.

@gloomyandy No no... I'm sorry if you misunderstood me, please bare with me, I'm German. 🙂

let me add a cable to ground the revo, just to strike this problem out. This will mean to me that I have to pull the plug of the printer and we loose the opportunity to have a look at a memory dump or similar according to my other problem.

                  Cheers, Chriss
