Can anyone tell me why when I print any shape the internal part is narrower by about 8 tenths. I'll start by saying that the external part is perfect with an error of about 5 cents.
I wanted to point out that the prints are drawn at the pitch of the nozzle size

@paolozampini1973 thermoplastics setting due to gravity may be a reason, or a touch of over extrusion, or the slicer choosing a slicing strategy that causes inside features to be too small (many have hole compensation for that, Cura Expert settings allow choosing include/exclude/middle slicing strategy).

@paolozampini1973 If you printed a 'calibration cube' and adjusted the steps per mm or XYZ scaling based on that, it's not a great way to calibrate your machine. This doesn't take account of extrusion. I recommend using something like the 'califlower' from Vector3D https://vector3d.shop/products/califlower-calibration. Well worth the couple of £/€/$. Gives internal as well as external measurements, so over/under extrusion can be ignored and/or calibrated later.
