IR Sensor not triggering

Hello

I purchased the IR height sensor this week, however following the setup guide I cannot get the sensor to activate. It flashes twice after power up, but that is it.

Its on a Duet 3 Mini 5+ WiFi on V3.5.4 firmware and setup as below

M558 K0 P8 C"io3.in" ;
G31 P50 X0 Y0 Z1.0 ;

I am probably missing a step somewhere.

Can you take a photo of your mounting as well as a close up of the board itself?

@Phaedrux Yes I had gone through that as it was referenced in the docs,

Pic attached of board, (ignore the funky angle as its all loose) No contact allowing a shrot circuit etc, but when i put any thing under I get no readout/flashing light. (white paper was suggested)

Found the issue, The IR LED thing by C1 is not attached properly.

If i apply slight pressure top it, then it works as expected.

@andy Sorry you have a broken IR probe. We are happy to replace the board under warranty, but also happy if it's just a soldering issue and you want to fix it yourself.
