Manual Extrusion not working
-
Hi All, trying to get my printer up and running after a long time of not using it.
I never used to have a problem manually extruding, but it doesn't seem to work anymore.

M563 P0 D0 H1 F0 seems to be right?
M302 states that cold extrusion is prohibited, but as per attached, T0 temp is well above the 160 degC minimum, but the manual extrusion buttons are greyed out. What am i missing?
Many thanks in advance

Where do i need to type it?

where …
As I wrote: at the end of your config. Place it above or below the 'Miscellaneous' section.

@wharris87 you need to have a tool selected in order to extrude. If you have just one tool then it's common to select it at the end of config.g.
-
Ah, that simple! Thanks, will give it a try

Looking at the config.g of @wharris87, that's the obvious cause. However, on the DWC screenshot, the tool "Heater 1" is active and at temperature, but the extrusion controls are dimmed nonetheless. So possibly, something else is going wrong. Maybe some unlucky mismatch of DWC and RRF versions? For personal reasons, I am not that familiar with RRF 3.1.4 (specified version of the configuration tool) to 3.3 (from the M115 report) - can you recall any issues related to that?

@wharris87 @infiniteloop The heater may be active, but the tool isn't. The tool is highlighted when it is active. Subtle difference, I know. See https://docs.duet3d.com/en/User_manual/Reference/Duet_Web_Control_Manual#selecting-a-tool

@droftarts Thanks for your correction - subtle as always
-
@infiniteloop Adding T0 in did the trick.
Many thanks for the swift support and guidance!
