1LC board potentially toasted
-
I was getting back to rebuilding my Voron powered with a duet 3 and toolboard. I was fixing a jam, and I think I think I touched an open +3.3v line from IO1 against ground running down to the extruder. Stupid mistake I know, and the magic smoke was released from the 3.3v chip:
I have a solder - rework station now, and I tried to steal one of these chips off another toasted 1.2 board I had laying around which didn't workout. When I power up the printer, I just get a blue light on the Vin port.
What are my chances of getting some of these chips in an hot air gunning this chip off to repair the board? Or am I better off just buying a new 1LC board...

@michaelr123 if the 5V LED isn't lit then either the 12V regulator or the 5V regulator has failed. I suggest you use a multimeter to check whether 12V is present at the input to the 5V linear regulator IC.
