Duet 2 LED not on
-
The documentation says that there should be an LED lit up between the reset button and the USB port. This LED is not lit up on my device, but the other LEDs that are supposed to be lit are and the LED between the USB port and the SD card slot flashes briefly upon power up and then turns off as it is supposed to. What does it mean when this LED between the USB port and the reset button is not lit?

How are you powering the board?
Have you tried disconnecting everything else from the board and having only power?
Have you seen this? https://docs.duet3d.com/en/User_manual/Troubleshooting/Duet_wont_respond -
@Phaedrux The board powers on, and I have read through the troubleshooting page. Our Duet is powered via a wall outlet and is part of a 3D Potter Clay Printer system. We are having network issues, which may be due to how IT has our network set up. I don't recall seeing that LED lit up even when we had the printer originally working for our test print, but I was curious what it indicated as the link you supplied does not reference what that LED signifies.

The LED between the USB port and the reset button is the USB power indicator. Do you have the board connected via USB at all times?
Is the board responsive to USB terminal commands?
For networking issues, it would help to know if you're using wifi or ethernet and what the contents of your config.g are.
It may help to go through this guide.

I've added a little extra text to https://docs.duet3d.com/en/User_manual/Troubleshooting/Duet_wont_respond
Duet 2: There should be a red LED illuminated between the USB connector and the Reset button, which indicates 5V power via USB.

Thank you both! The board is not using USB power, so it makes sense that that light is not on.
