I have been trying to get the resume after power failure to work. I have followed the setup at https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/Setting_up_to_resume_a_print_after_a_power_failure.

Im using a standard endstop for the Zmax and an IR probe at the Zmin. When I run a print it homes then goes to zmax and states that it has finished one layer, raises to 200mm then back to zmax and states it has done another layer. Im not sure what to do from here, any help will be appreciated.

      1. To be clear: the problem occurs when you run a normal print? Or did you mean it occurs when you resurrect a print?

      2. Was the printer working before you added the M911 line? If so, does it work again if you comment out the M911 line? If so, at the end of a print if you run M122, what values are shown for the minimum and maximum VIN voltage?

      3. The M911 line is not quite right, it should be:

      M911 S21.0 R23.0 P"M913 X0 Y0 M83 G91 G1 Z3 E-5 F1000" ; Automatic saving after power loss is enabled

because you want the axes to be in relative mode when you execute the G1 Z3.

      4. In your resurrect-prologue.g file you need to home Z to Z max with something like this:

      G1 S1 Z500 Fnnn

with a suitable F parameter for your machine. Then if you want, back off a few mm and home again at a slower speed.

It was happening with a normal print, Ill make these adjustments and give it a try.

        Thank You!

I have tried your changes with the same result, I also commented out the M911 command and it did the same thing. THe only thing that is changing between the working config and the not working config is the endstop setup.

          Working Config

          ; Axis Limits
          M208 X0 Y0 Z0 S1 ; Set axis minima

          ; Endstops
          M574 X1 Y1 S1 ; Set active high endstops

          ; Z-Probe
          M574 Z1 S2 ; Set endstops controlled by probe
          M558 P1 H5 F120 T6000 ; Set Z probe type to unmodulated and the dive height + speeds
          G31 P500 X0 Y0 Z1.8 ; Set Z probe trigger value, offset and trigger height
          M557 X25:275 Y25:275 S65 ; Define mesh grid

          Not Working

          ; Axis Limits

          ; Endstops
          M574 X1 Y1 S1 ; Set active high endstops
          M574 Z2 S1

Why do you have the line M574 Z1 S1 in config.g if you are using a Z max endstop switch?

The print begins, reaches temp, homes zxy to min and runs a four point bed probing. Then the printer lowers the bed to the max and once it reaches max begins to move up to 200mm and then goes back down to the max. It continues this cycle and counts each cycle as a layer. This Gcode has been ran successfully before implementing the M911 code and adding the Zmax endstop.

Your M291 M208 Z491.3 command should have S0 not S1 because it is setting the upper limit.
