PT100 Sensor on Hotend strange issue with PanelDUE (SOLVED)
-
OK
I have a PT100 on the first port of the RTD Board set M305 P1 X200 and was unable to get the hotend to heat at all from the Panel due.
Powered down and connected the Bed Heater Thermistor and it then started to heat however I seem to be unable to control the target once it has been set by whatever means for example if I set it to say 120 and let it heatup then want to change it the Panel seems to drop back to the original setting of 120 if I set to 280 in the Web interface with the panel already set then the panel seems to set the max temp.
I must be missing something here.

Have I done something silly or just unearthed a bug the DuetWIFI is as it came need to check which FW is on the Panel tho (1.13)
Any advice?

Further thought's on the issue
I think it is to do with trying to set a temp in excess of the Max allowed by the firmware found I can step it up but if I go to far then it reverts back to the last valid setting.
Time to find the code to adjust that?

I upgraded to 1.14 Doug and seems to be holding alright, though I am only using the old style sensors

I Have it sorted it appears the Default max Hotend temp is 262 degrees haveing set it to 290 I have managed to tighten the E3D Nozzle correctly
M143 S290 did the trick updated the panelDue anyway as it need doing
