Well I have got it feeding filament by hand with no jamming issues. But as far as the tool change scripts im absolutely lost.
It does the retract on the first color, then does it again on the second one leaving the hotend empty.

I tried looking for some documentation on S3D site but not much help there, the duet wiki is missing almost all the info pertaining to tool change scripts. so i figured you guys could help out.

here are my scripts i have so far, they dont seem to work right at all.2_1531597121824_tfree0.g 1_1531597121822_tpost0.g 0_1531597121822_tpre0.g

You're quite right that the documentation on tool changing is pretty much non-existent.

Hopefully someone more knowledgeable on multiple tool heads will be along shortly.

@jbourns are you asking s3d to do the retract or are you relying purely on the tool change scripts?

Does this happen just that the beginning of a print or every time?

by asking are you referring to relative extrusion setting up the g-code tab?

Its does do the retracts and changes color with out a hitch now. Just its severely under extruding when im trying multi color prints. I can run the same solid models in a single color, it turns out just fine.1_1531782365444_20180716_123016.jpg 0_1531782365441_20180716_123039.jpg

Any idea whats going on with this?

@jbourns I was trying to find out if the "retract twice" was happening because the retraction in Tfree0.g was running, and also some Simplify 3d retraction routine was also running on tool change?

When you switch between tools by typing T0, T1, T0 in the console (make sure the tools are at temperature if there is filament loaded) does the retraction happen correctly (i.e. the same from T0->t1 as from T1-> T0?

It does now change the filament fine, with no double retracts.
when i change tools from DWC it works like a charm. T0-T1-T0 works great.
It doesnt make a lick of sense but, it works now.
Now the under extrusion is the problem.

Alright, im an idiot. The double retract was the cause of T0 because i somehow didnt have relative extrusion checked.
The under extrusion was from the print profile i used which happened to be a 2.85mm printer.

The profile needs tuning but it still turned out great.
