      we now have everything working, but no power to steppers. can I send my board back for you to test please.

            X/Y/Z Steppers won't move until the printer thinks it is "homed". Try a G28 (home) instead of G1 (move). See if the steppers run.

            Extruder stepper won't move unless hot end is hot.
