To my understanding the backlight of my PanelDue should dim if the printer is idle and/or a M81 command is sent. My pannel is always lit. I have noticed that even the brightness +/- in the setup tab does not change anything. Am I missing something here?

I just flashed the latest 1.22.1(28b1) firmware.

Which version of PanelDue board do you have? The early ones did not support dimming.

No clue to be honest, I bought mine secondhand from a local guy. I not at my printer for the weekend but is there an easy way to identify the version.

I just installed a permanent external 5V PSU so the PanelDue is always lit. Any way to make it dim, especially at night 🙂 ?

The version is printed on the back of the circuit board.
