Smart effector: 24v heater & 12v heatsink fan
-
My main VIN on duet is 24v. I have 12v power going into V_FAN (middle pin) of V_FAN JUMPER SELECT, the other 2 remaining (left & right pins) are not connected to anything.
Wiring setup (INPUT 1):
(smart effector <- >duet)
H+ (24v) <-> E0 VIN
H- <-> E0-
HF+ (12v) <-> Always On Fans V_FAN
HF- <-> Always On Fans GND
PF- <-> No print fan yet
PF+ <-> No print fan yet
Also, place a jumper on On for 12V on underside of smart effectorIs it ok to mix 12v and 24v on the smart effector? Am I missing anything?
I will eventually switch to all fans to VIN (24v) or 5v for consistency. This is just to get things running first.

Yes that's OK. The LEDs are powered from the heatsink fan supply, so you will need to fit the 12V jumper on the Smart Effector. Don't forget to remove it when you switch the fan to a 24V one.
