Can anyone provide me with the baseline settings for speeds and etc. for an Ender 3? I'm not sure how many people have installed the Duet on one. I guess I could find the settings in the Marlin code from GitHub, but I was hoping someone had the Duet settings handy to just copy/paste. Or even the JSON file would work. Mine is working, but I'm not sure how well it's optimized.

I think the firmware they use is marlin based so if you have no joy with an easy reply on here you should at least be able to find the default acceleration, instantaneous speed, max speed etc from there.

Here's a video series where the Ender3 is upgraded with a DuetWifi. He goes into a lot of step by step detail.

And here's some basics on adapting an existing printer to use the Duet. https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/Going_from_Marlin_on_Arduino_to_RepRapFirmware_on_Duet

        That might get you started.

On my FT-5 I got my baseline from writing down the marlin settings, then used the RRF config tool to plug them in.

Also note instantaneous speed is "Jerk".

When you use the RRF tool it will also put notes in the G-code files.

Thanks, yeah, he pulled the settings from the Creality open source Marlin file.

I got the stuff from the Marlin Creality file on Github. I increased most of my max speeds.

                      Hi

I am afraid I am not in a position to do that. I previously posted my operational heater settings for the ender 3 and dc42 advised that they were incorrect. Even though they work fine for me.

Therefore It would be wrong of me to post my operational settings for the fear of them being picked apart and I wouldn't wish to inadvertently cause anyone else to have an issue with their machine because they used any settings of mine, which might or might not be correct.

I hope you understand my position.

                      Best Regards

@CaLviNx, if you post your settings then I can make suggestions if I think they should be changed.
