LJ12A3-4-Z/BX wiring questions
-
I have a LJ12A3-4-Z/BX probe that i am working on mounting up. When i connect it to 12v (the input circuit for the Duet) and it is not triggered its LED is lit but dimly. When i triggers against metal, the LED lights up brighter. When not triggered, i read 5.8v on the signal output wire. and when it triggers that drops to 4.3v.
That does not seem right. That seems like the wrong voltages.
I had planned to connect this in place of the IR sensor, to the Z-probe pins near the paneldue header.
My wire coloring also seems different. I get Black as ground, Brown as positive, and Blue as signal. Connecting Black to ground and blue to signal gets the probe lit steadily at the bright LED and no response from triggering it. Connecting black ground, brown +12v, and blue signal gets the pattern described at the outset.
Help?

On those sensors usally brown is positive, blue is ground and black is signal. If you connect that way, what happens?

@aidar Actually nothing happens. No LED, no triggering.

@JKaechler Did you ever made it work? I have the same issue
