I 'm having a problem lately with the IR Probe which while probing will give a IR Probe reading at 33 an stops thinking its homed but at least 6mm from the bed then i move it up 0.05 and home again and then it will home correctly starting at 464 then 540 when its close to the bed.

Now this was happening a few days ago then stopped but today it started again.

Have you tried cleaning the sensor with some isopropyl?

Ok still not working , Question is why do I have a reading of 29 to 33 when the bed is even a 150mm down.
Shouldn't it be zero or over 1000 when very far away from the bed?

Yes. A reading of around 30 suggests to me that you have a bad connection between the IR sensor and the Duet.
