I just installed the duet WiFi board and went thru the reprap confg. (not sure I did that correctly either) and now if I try to move the X or Y stepper motors in it moves both axes at the same time. For example if I press 10mm +X this makes both X and Y move in the positive direction. If I press 10mm -X both X and Y move in the negative direction. If i select 10mm +Y X moves positive and Y moves negative. Finally if I select -Y then X moves negative and Y positive. This seems like a wiring issue to me but I wanted to ask. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for your help.

      Need more information.

What style of printer is it? Did you select coreXY when it should be cartesian?

      Can you post your config?

So unless you've done a CoreXY conversion mod to your FT5, I believe it uses cartesian mechanics in its stock form.

I tried to copy and past the sys file contents but the form tagged it as spam? Not sure how to post the config file?

Try it again, or try uploading the file by dragging it onto the window or using the file upload button.

In that case I suggest you go back to the configurator. You can import the config.json file that it generated before so that you don't need to re-enter all the settings. Then in the General tab, change the Geometry to Cartesian. After that go to the Finish tab and click the Finish button to generate new configuration and homing files.
