Hi, Its been about 6 months since I used my printer, and now im having issues trying to connect to it.
I can confirm that the board (Duet WIFI) is connected to my network because when I check on my duet Panel, I get the message "WIFI Module is connected to access point ...........10.1.1.184"
If I log into my router, and can also see the printer is connected to 10.1.1.184

I have run through this https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Guide/1.)+Getting+Connected+to+your+Duet/7
set up page again, but im still unable to connect.
I found that I am running version 2.02

If I type "10.1.1.184" into my Chrome address bar, I constantly get the unable to connect message.

I think im having an issue with my laptop maybe, like im forgetting a setting.

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

From your laptop, open up command prompt.
          Type ping 10.1.1.184

For my printer it is 192.168.0.8 and these are my results.
          C:\Users\Paul>ping 192.168.0.8

Pinging 192.168.0.8 with 32 bytes of data:
          Reply from 192.168.0.8: bytes=32 time=11ms TTL=128
          Reply from 192.168.0.8: bytes=32 time=7ms TTL=128
          Reply from 192.168.0.8: bytes=32 time=8ms TTL=128
          Reply from 192.168.0.8: bytes=32 time=13ms TTL=128

          Ping statistics for 192.168.0.8:
          Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
          Minimum = 7ms, Maximum = 13ms, Average = 9ms

if you get similar results obviously with your printers ip, it is more than likely chrome.
Try a different browser like firefox or Internet Explorer/Edge.

If that works you might have to add an 'exclusion' to Chrome to allow it to connect, basically the DWC is not secure so Chrome could be protecting you.
I know Chrome went through some big changes protecting the user.

            Thanks for the reply.
I did the ping and got the similar results.
I tried to use edge, but got the same can not connect error.
It must be a windows firewall problem?

It is not the firewall, as the ping command goes throught the firewall too.

Please open command again and type ipconfig/all and post the results.

Also please post this section from you config.g

                    I think I see a problem.
The ip is set to 10.1.1.182, but my router is assigning 10.1.1.184.

If this is a problem, how does my phone connect?

Your laptop is running not running DHCP and your subnet mask is wrong
                      Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.255 Should be 255.255.255.0 which could cause an issue.

Try setting your wireless lan to DHCP and try and connect to the printer again.

@PaulHew thanks heaps. Setting the laptop to enable DHCP has fixed the problem, although i'll need to look into being able to set my laptop ip as static to suit some other applications
