Does the Duet Wifi (Firmware 2.03 ) do something different to the steppers during Homing?
I recently swapped out my Steperonline 17HM19-2004S for Moons MS17HA6P4200.
When I home the delta it makes this loud noise, kind of like a vibration, but seems to home fine.
After homing, I move Z up and down without the noise. I have no Idea what is causing this noise.
What should I be looking for as the culprit. Current is set at 1600ma and the Moons like the Stepperonline are 2A steppers.

@quadcells said in Delta Making a lot of Noise When Homing Only?:

it could be that you are hitting a resonance frequency at the homing speed.

try changing the feedrate in the homedelta script

@quadcells it does not do anything different by default. Could it be a mechanical issues introduced by the motor swap?

Thanks for the info on the Duet. I will check the motor mounts again and look at the travel speed and see If I figure this out.

Bit late, but it was mechanical. Didn't see that my Y tower Idler pulley mount had a lose screw.
              Fixed.
