RailCore II - Duet2 Ethernet - Duex5
Firmware: RepRapFirmware for Duet 2 WiFi/Ethernet 2.03 (2019-06-13b2)I have not had this issue in a while, last time was on my Ender 3.
I had too much squish on a small print in PLA, and checked my Z0 and it was extremely tight.
Paper gauge, reset Z to 0.
Ran 5 probes and the results were all about the same but not in previous probes.
Normally I have a 1.2xx, these were all 1.1xx.Tried to print and nothing was sticking to the bed.
Checked with my paper gauge and it was too high.Went through this procedure 4 - 5 times and could not get anything to stick.
Had a thought, put my paper gauge under nozzle and jogged down and reset my Z0.
Before I did anything else I rebooted the Duet.
Homed all of the axis, paper under the nozzle and it gripped.Re did my probes and my value was back where it had been.
I can now print.I am only posting this as feedback and possibly if someone else has this issue.
It is though it is not writing a value correctly, however it does it, but after a reboot all is good and works correctly.

Did you have a non-zero baby step setting active?
No I did not. PLA is my base and I do not use baby steps with it.
I use a Z offset when I am printing in PET-G but I do that in the slicer.
