I have modified the menu files for the 12864 display on my Ender3 running a Maestro board.
I added the % complete to the display as well as the remaining time.

The current print is displaying 75.2% in DWC and 72.6% on the 12864 display.
'File progress' seems to tally with the 12864 display

Have I done something wrong in my menu config or is it an issue with the firmware.

      Board: Duet Maestro 1.0
Firmware: RepRapFirmware for Duet 2 Maestro 2.04 (2019-11-01b1

It is not a show stopper! 🙂
      Regards
      Paul

The 12864 % complete figure is based on file progress, because it is the only estimate that can be guaranteed to give a sensible (if not always accurate) answer, for all types of print and CNC job. I think DWC uses a more complicated algorithm to decide which estimate to display. It may be the estimate based on filament usage, because that is usually the most accurate one when it is available.

            Thanks for the Reply David.
I was thinking that whatever DWC was displaying would be the same on the 12864.

As I said, it is not a show stopper.
BTW as it gets near to the end of the print, the % difference has reduced. 90.7 DWC to 89.2 12864

            Thanks again.
            Paul.

@PaulHew said in Information difference between DWC and 12864 display:

This is expected, because as you get close to the end of the print, all the estimates converge towards 100%, unless the firmware has mis-read the filament usage of number of layers in the model.
