Mid-air problem with fixed bed.



  • I have a weird problem with Bltouch.
    G31 P25 X0 Y20 Z1.82

    I print fine on the center but when the head moves to Y130 for example, I see either mid-air print or nozzle hits the bed. Basically uneven bed problem with Bltouch even though the bed is fixed.

    As this is a Delta printer, it will be because your delta settings (M665) are incorrect. Either delta radius or arm length. You should be able to fix this using delta calibration; see this guide for details: https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/ConfiguringRepRapFirmwareDeltaPrinter

  • I also wouldn't use S9 at the end of the bed file.
    S6 is generally the recommended value.

    this is a strong incidication that you never ran delta calibration and saved the values.

    if you have effector tilt the offset of the probe could be problematic.
    delta printer idealy want to probe with the nozzle or something very close to it.

    have you tried with 6 factor instead of 9 as suggested by @jay_s_uk ?



  • @Veti I was using 6 factors, it was the same for that. Switched to 9 factors after. My offset is 20 btw, Y offset.
