Delta printer max limits

is there a way to limit delta's printable radius in an assymmetrical way? my Z probe, being about 30 mm away from the nozzle, forces me to limit the radius all around and lose significant real estate.

If you have defined the probe offset it should take that into account when probing and you shouldn't use printable real estate.

Not currently. But if you need to offset your print to make the most of the printable area, you can do that using the workplace coordinate offsets. Or you can pretend that your nozzle is offset from the centre of the effector, to force it to print off centre.
However, offset Z probes are not good on a delta printer, because it is very hard to eliminate varying effector tilt completely, and such tilt changes the relative heights of the Z probe and the nozzle.

oliof - thanks but I am not talking about probing, in which z probe offset is taken into the account. it is not so in real printing.

Given that settings in Duet are completely dynamic, and probing the bed on a delta is really a series of commands in bed.g, it would seem there are several ways to accomplish what you want.

Expand/contract M666 B just before the commands that probe on the "side" where the probe is offset, and then put it back after those commands.

Just leave M666 B at the larger setting, and hand-edit the commands in bed.g that would have a problem.
There's probably others that I haven't thought of, by utilizing dynamic settings at the appropriate places in Bed.g.
All fully automatic, and no Duet/RepRap firmware changes needed.
