      Hi,

I would like to see a two-pin header included that would allow installing a hardware reset switch so I could duplicate the function of the reset switch on the board.

Printers: A FT-5 with the 713 upgrade bits. A custom MarkForged style. A small Utilmaker style and a CoreXY from kits. Various hotends. Using Duets (2 and 3) running 3.4.1

        Hi Frederick

Thank you for the request - may I ask how this would be used? Is it a concern that the firmware resets wont work?

Well the board includes a hardware reset button - yes?

The way I am mounting the boards that switch is difficult to access so it would seem reasonable (to me) to be able to have a way to install an external switch that would do the same as the switch on the board.

Currently I did implement the firmware reset using the "trigger" feature but will that approach interrupt and reset the printer regardless of what it is busy doing?

          Thanks.

I have made a note of this request and we will look at it when doing the next board revision.
