New repository for machine configuration files
-
I have created a repository at https://github.com/Duet3D/RRF-machine-config-files to host configuration and related files for RepRapFirmware. User contributions are encouraged. See the README file there for more details.

Great idea! Bravo!!

Would it make sense to remove the values from M143, M906 and M208 and put them to the comment for these lines?
That way there would be no way of someone running an incompatible config. Mistakes happen, you can miss something and get in to trouble. -
Github is for people smarter than me . Here's a link for MMU running on RRF 3.01 for a cartesian printer . Easy to modify it to work on other motion systems. Someone may be able to put that on github.

@Ntrack I can put it on github along with my own configs once I get them cleaned up.

@Phaedrux Thank you

That way there would be no way of someone running an incompatible config. Mistakes happen, you can miss something and get in to trouble.We decided not to do that, because many of the config file sets will be for standard machines. The repository readme file warns users to check M143 and M906 commands specifically.

Ah, that makes sense.
