      David,
Would it be a real pain to add a third decimal place here? My little micro mill is deadly repeatable and responds to better than .01mm changes at least in Z. I am running 20 of the same part right now and have confirmed that. It would be nice to see these changes on the screen. Understandably I would be one of few that would ever require this resolution so if its a significant effort or something you'd rather not change I can survive with it as is 🙂

@Danal 2 but I'm guessing I'm going to have to move up to 3 with the tool changer I'm working on. I was planing to ask you if that was going to be required for the ATC. Just haven't had the opportunity to present that concept yet

Until or unless this is an option in regular DWC, for V2 based printers only:

                • Download the attached file
                • Rename it to remove the ".txt". After the rename, it will be "Z3D.zip".
                • Upload the zip to the Duet where you want 3 digit readout (do not unzip it) with the standard "system" and "upload system files" dialog.

You can certainly unzip if if you want to look at it. It is an HTML page with some embedded javascript.

                To use:

                • Open a new browser tab (tear it out so you can see it at the same time as DWC), and load: http://printer.name.or.ip/z3d.htm

You can resize that window to be small, and leave it where you can see it. It has to be the ugliest web page ever...

                It self-refreshes.

Required? Not absolutely... Easier, and a better path forward? IMHO, Yes.

When you get ready to convert, ping me. I have a working V3 config for a 4 tool changer.

Awsome. Thanks. I'll load the zip tomorrow. Like to try it now but I'm "essential" 3 days this week, including tomorrow so I gotta hit the sack
