Solved Reactivare the end stopps for x and y only

Running dwc2 wifi
Inductive bead leveling sensor
and ball screw with 5mm pitch
All 3endstop sw.. Do not function
They do activate the led on the board so the issue has to be in the software. i believe the code was changes to current limiting when i uploaded the code for the inductive sensor. it changed the end sw functions. All 3 of them
How does one reactivate 2 out of the three endstop sensors so my inductive bed sensor will continue to work. i would like y and x back on the end sw. Is anyone running current limiting on a ball screw??
This coding is all new to me so thanks for the help -
Can you run a ball screww off of stall insted of sw.
-
You can run any stepper off of stall, if you are willing to tune the stall.
When you say "the code was changed" did you change firmware releases?
Please post your config.g
-
No i loaded someons code to get my capacitive b l sensor to work thats when i believe tje tsal feature was activated and my end sw. Were deactivated.
How can i set the stall on my y axes since i instaled the ball screw? Or would it be better to just use a sw. ? -
Unfortunately im accessing this blogon my phone i will repost my question when i have this loaded on my laptop where i can past my gcode. Sorry about that.

No i loaded someons code
Not sure what that means. Loaded someone's firmware? Loaded someone's config.g? All of it? Part of it?
-
It was a section of cod i got off of github

This was almost a year ago and i apologize for my inexperienced with coding. Im learning

i have an inductive sensor not a bl Touch i have a sneaky suspicion i have several code issues that need addressing such as it takes two hommings to completely home . any advice as far as code goes really helps

@ziggymanpopo said in Reactivare the end stopps for x and y only:
; Endstops
M574 X0 Y0 Z0 S1 ; Set endstops controlled by motor lThis is where your endstops are defined. See https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/Gcode#Section_M574_Set_endstop_configuration for full definition.
'X0 Y0 Z0' means that endstops are disabled. 'S1' means they are set to active high endstop input. If you were using motor stall detection, this should be 'S3'. I'm assuming you want microswitch endstops to work again, so change this to:
; Endstops M574 X1 Y1 Z1 S1 ; Set active high endstops
This will set the X, Y and Z endstop to low end endstops (ie home to axis minimum) using active-type endstops. You may need to change your homeall.g files if it's expecting to use stall detection, though. For full details on endstops, see https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/Connecting_endstop_switches, particularly the 'testing endstop switches' at the end of that page.
; Z-Probe
; M558 P5 H5 F100 T2000 ; Set Z probe type to bltouch and the dive height + speeds
M558 P9 H5 F100 T4000 ; Set Z probe type to bltouch and the dive height + speeds
G31 P500 X-42 Y-5 Z1.35 ; Set Z probe trigger value, offset and trigger height - is Nozzle hoger; BLTouch - Heaters
M307 H3 A-1 C-1 D-1 ; Disable heater on PWM channel for BLTouchFor an inductive sensor (I assume NPN) see https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/Connecting_a_Z_probe#Section_NPN_output_normally_open_inductive_or_capacitive_sensor
You should be using M558 P5 for an inductive sensor. You don't need the M307 command (it's specifically for BLTouch).
For testing and calibrating, see: https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/Test_and_calibrate_the_Z_probe
You will also want to test it for accuracy and repeatability, by probing multiple times in one place, so you can tune the dive height and other parameters to get reliable readings.Ian

awesome thank you Ian.that helps tremendously i vaguely remember doing some of this about a year ago. ill see what i can clean up
-
You were correct that i need to change thing in the homall.g file all up and running
thanks everone
