Heating Fault

Hello,
First of all I am super new to duet. I just purchased a highly modified cr10 from someone that never really finished it. duet 2 wifi
E3d V6 hotend
external mosfetsI am getting a Error: Heating fault on heater 1, temperature rising much more slowly than the expected 1.6c/sec
I have done the auto tune (m303) as suggested in wiki and saved the results, still happens.
I thought it may be the external mosfet so I bypassed that and hooked directly to the board. same results.Any ideas?

Can you post your config.g?
I assume this is the V6 hotend? Is the thermistor and heater cartridge firmly seated in the block? Is a fan blowing on the block? Is the cartridge a 24v unit and the PSU voltage only 12v? -
@Phaedrux Hello, Thank you for you response. I think I have figured it out. For some reason when The heat bed turns on the voltage drops from 24 to 14.. If i just do HE1 by itself the error does not occur.. I think the psu is bad..

@Phaedrux just dawned on me and I looked to see, this still has the original cr 10 12v heatbed but it has a 24v psu. It does have a e3d v6 hotend but How can I tell if it is the 12v or 24v?

I believe the genuine E3D cartridges have the voltage laser engraved on the cartridge itself.
If not, you can also use a multimeter as described here: https://e3d-online.dozuki.com/Guide/V6+Electronics+Assembly/4#s49
Your heater cartridge will be either 30w or 40w, with blue and red wires receptively.
If you have a 12v heater cartridge, your resistance reading will be (about) 3.5 or 4.8 Ω for 40w and 30w respectively.
If you have a 24v heater cartridge, your resistance reading will be (about) 14.4 or 19.2 Ω for 40w and 30w respectively.

Dont use 12v bed with 24v supply. If i remember correctly cr10 12v bed is 220W. That means its resistance is less then 1 Ohm. Actually 0.66 or so. If you use 24v, you will have about 40A there or so. You can easy destroy your duet, assuming your bed is directly connected to duet, as well as bed and most probably psu also unless your psu can handle 1kw or so power.

I have taken everything apart. Tested cartridge it is 24v. the guy I bought it from is going to switch out the psu and cartridge for 12v ones tomorrow Thanks for all your guys help.
