      @T3P3Tony & @dc42

      @ANYONE ELSE

      I'M NOT LOOKING FOR ASSISTANCE.

      I'm reporting a potential board failure ONLY. (purchased direct from duet3d)

      Firmware Version: 2.05.1 (2020-02-09b1)
      WiFi Server Version: 1.23
      Web Interface Version: 1.22.6

      I also tested with RRF3.0 then upgraded to 3.1.1 which both resulted in the board displaying the same errors.

      I commissioned a brand new board (1.04) unsealed from the packet yesterday into an Anycubic Chiron with Dual Z motors.

      The motors are configured in the following manner, Driver's 2:4 Z motor-1 being on driver 2 and Z motor-2 being on driver 4.

      After around 12hrs of flawless printing, when the machine was switched on today, at first homing the the board started throwing up multiple spurious errors.

      The FIRST error reported was:

      The PSU is under-volted at 8.2v

      The SECOND error reported was:

      Error: motor phase A disconnected on drivers 2
      Error: motor phase B disconnected on drivers 2
      Error: motor phase A disconnected on drivers 4
      Error: motor phase B disconnected on drivers 4

      It would also sporadically list the same error on driver 0 (the X axis)

      The THIRD error reported was:

      Error: short-to-ground reported by driver(s) 2 4

      Diagnostics tests carried out:

      Error #1

      Voltage checked found to be @24.1 (DWC reports the same) error also manifests with a regulated bench supply

      For error #2

      Continuity on connections between board and motor connectors test OK, continuity on both coil phases OK

      For error #3

      NO continuity found between any motor connection and/or the motor body(s) or the boards ground terminal

      SD card replaced (brand new, had an overwrite format) board displayed the same errors

      Rectification action: New board unsealed and installed into the same machine, all errors have disappeared, the machine is back printing.

        Sorry to see you're having issues with a new board. Sounds possibly like a voltage regulator issue. Please initiate a warranty return form here: https://www.duet3d.com/warranty
