CoreXY - Sanity check on values for acc, jerk, speeds, etc.

    Just starting to try and tune in my Vcore Pro.

    I got this for now:

    M350 X16 Y16 Z16 E16 I1                               ; Microstepping with interpolation
    M92 X160.00 Y160.00 Z800.00 E381.81                   ; Steps/mm
    M566 X1000 Y1000 Z30 E20                              ; Maximum jerk speeds (mm/min)
    M203 X24000 Y24000 Z900 E3600.00                      ; Maximum speeds (mm/min)
    M201 X3000.00 Y3000.00 Z20 E1000                      ; Accelerations (mm/s^2)
    M906 X1260 Y1260 Z1260 E1000 I30                      ; Motor currents (mA) - E3D HT Motor rated at 1680 => 75% = 1260 mA | Hemera rated at 1330 => 75% =  | 30% idle factor
    M84 S30                                               ; Set idle timeout
    

    My extruder is a direct drive 24v Hemera and the motors are E3D High Torque motors.

    Anyone able to give me a little sanity check on this?



  • I would up the jerk setting on the extruder axis and maybe Z as well. 20 is very low, I use values of about 500-600 for my E. The rest looks reasonable to me.
