Extruder not recognized.



  • I just upgraded to RRF3 and most everything seems to be working so far.
    I cannot get the extruder controls to show up in the web interface - it is greyed out. I have preheated the nozzle to 160 and also tried to issue a M302 P1 but that does not help either.
    Connector for the extruder is plugged into second connection (i.e. one immediately before X). I also tried it connected to E0 and with appropriate adjustments to config.g - no change.

    Any and all help appreciated.

    You don’t have an extruder drive assigned to your tool. Add ‘D0’.

    I'm using the configuration tool and obviously lacking a comprehension of some of the concepts.
