According to documentation, there are some modifications to the cables required to make this setup work. From my understanding, I can just run the standard RJ11 from duet3 to the tool distribution board. However, from the distribution board to the toolboard are there some twisted pairs I will need to make up myself?

@dc42 Thank you for your response.

I have the RJ11 going from the Duet3, to the tool distribution board, I have jumpers across the can-out and on the unused tool ports.

For setting up my twisted pairs is it pin-to-pin?

          meaning:
a twisted pair for pins 1&2 go to pins 1&2 from distribution board to toolboard? etc.

Yes they are straight from the tool distribution board to the toolboards
