      Hi.

I'd like to ease up my paneldue upgrade process. It's mounted in such a way that accessing the usb ports and buttons need a pain disassembly of my printer front panel.

I have an extension connector of the paneldue serial port, I'd like to flash the paneldue from uart instead of usb
However, I still need to push the erase button that is not accessible.

Is there not a software way of erasing the firmware from a serial command?

Afaik no, M999 P"ERASE" is just for the Duet; but update from RRF is/was on the roadmap according to something I read eons ago.

I will include such a button in version 3.3.

In theory it's possible to do the complete programming of PanelDue v3 from the Duet, but we haven't yet found time to write the code to run in the Duet.
