Hello! My paneldue was working as it should. Though i pushed the erasebutton to be able to update the firmware and now it is completely dead. No response when in my 2 computers with multiple tries with different cables. What to do?

Have you tried disconnecting the PanelDue from the Duet, and then connecting the PanelDue to the PC using a USB cable?

Did you follow the entire firmware update procedure?

@marcus3d I have seen a similar behavior if the PanelDue was still connected to the Duet but not powered. Powering the PanelDue via USB to use it worked but after pressing the erase button it would not show up as a serial device unless I turned on power on the printer (reliably worked) or disconnect it from the printer (only once did not work).

When you say completely dead: does background light turn on when you apply power to it?

No there is no backlight when connected to the printer either.
